St Mary's comprises of a 15th century west tower, which has very large battlements with cruciform arrow slits. The rest of the church was rebuilt for Uvedale Tomkyns in 1679 and consists of, chancel nave and north porch, all of which are complete in structure and furnishings.

The windows are mullioned and transomed with round arches to the lights at the top and below the transom. There is a round-arched entrance porch and inside the ceiling, which is plain white, is segmentally vaulted in plaster.

The font is octagonal with a small bowl and simple in design. The screen, communion rail, pulpit, benches and panelling are all of that date, as are the finely carved royal arms of Charles II (Left).
