Bat Watch at Letton Church, August 2007

On one of the few warm evenings of August a grand bat watch was held in the churchyard. The evening started with a barbecue and was followed by a presentation by bat expert Rebecca Collins. As dusk settled Rebecca took everyone outside with bat detectors to identify the bats as they swooped down from overhead. It was a very successful evening attended by approximately 40 people of all ages.
