May 2011
Dear Friends
May is often a lovely month especially in this County. Wherever
we look we can see the stunningly beautiful apple blossom
and a myriad of crops and flowers growing like mad as they
prepare to come to full bloom and fruit.
To me it is a long way from the depths winter. Remember those
days when it was -18 and deemed that we would be frozen for
ever. Most of us were tucked up in our warm houses but the
plants and trees had to brave everything outside.
It is little short of a miracle to me that even under the
most of extreme conditions nature maintains itself and is
able to grow and start again.
May is the time after Easter when we too remember new life
as revealed in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Life had
seemed very dark to those who were left after Good Friday
but Easter Morning and His subsequent appearances proved to
the World that there was and is hope and new life.
The world can still appear dark at times but I hope and pray
that new life blossoms forth in your lives as we enjoy the
Joy of May.
With my love
