The annual Inter-parish Croquet Tournament will be held on Saturday 9 June at 2pm, at Eardisley Tennis and Croquet Club.
Churches in the parish can enter teams of two people and any number of teams can be accommodated, with a maximum of eight teams on the croquet pitch at any one time. This year, Letton will be defending its title.
Cost of entry is £5 per person and afternoon tea can be provided for an extra £3 per person.
The croquet club is with the tennis club in Eardisley, post code HR3 6NS. There is a signpost in the village and an extra sign, which you can’t miss, will be put out on the day. The club is behind Phoenix Car Restoration and you have to drive through that yard to get to the it. There is parking for 24 cars.
Any teams that want to take part should let Rev’d Sean Semple know as soon as possible. Sean will then liaise with the croquet club regarding the number of teams and players, and catering requirements.
