Yesterday, Mothers were honoured at Mothering Sunday services across our Group of Parishes. The photos are from the service at St Mary’s, Staunton-on-Wye and include one of the Staunton Community Choir who led our worship very capably and beautifully.

On Saturday, the Staunton Village Hall was filled with the sound of friends catching up over a cuppa, bargains being bought from the stalls, raffle prizes being won – and the fabulous Staunton Community Choir entertaining all present with crowd pleasers like “Somewhere over the rainbow” and “As time goes by”.

Remembrance Day Service 2016

The Weobley and Staunton Group of Parishes held a Remembrance Day Service at St Peter and St Paul’s, Weobley. Over 230 people attended a moving service where the Group Rector and Chaplain to the Weobley Branch of the Royal British Legion, the Rev’d Sean Semple, used a football on loan from the Imperial War Museum, to reflect on what had the power to unify, inspire and create a better future.
