Pet Blessing Service

On the 8th October at 10:30 all pets and their people are warmly invited to a service of blessing in Byford Church. Pets are asked to be on leashes or in suitable containers, and pictures of pets that cannot be present or are deceased are also welcomed.

Harvest Festivals 2017

Each of the seven churches in the Weobley and Staunton Group of Parishes will soon be holding a Harvest Festival. Come along and give thanks for God’s goodness to us!

Confirmation Service 2017

On the 14th May, The Rt Rev Alistair Magowan, Bishop of Ludlow conducted a Confirmation Service at St Peter and St Paul’s Parish Church, Weobley. The confirmands were Sara Dixon, Hazel Schramm, Ella Davies and Taylor Davies. The Rev’d Sean Semple, Rector of the Weobley and Staunton Group of Parishes prepared and presented the confirmands.

St Mary’s Sarnesfield, Open Weekend 3rd – 4th June 2017

 

 ‘Coffee, Cake & Agriculture’

Enjoy a moment or two at St Mary’s where you can view floral decoration and sample delicious homemade cakes, while catching up with ‘old friends’. And while you’re there, you can learn a little about the ancient parish of Sarnesfield and aspects of its agricultural history.  There will also be a display of vintage farm implements and agricultural photographs.

2017 Inter-Parish Croquet Tournament

Eardisley Tennis and Croquet Club played host to the Weobley and Staunton Group’s inter-parish croquet tournament. After three fun but competitive rounds Letton Church, represented by Alistair Ross and Charles Overton, emerged Tournament Champions, with Byford represented by Sue Hubbard and Will Keeley, runners up.
