Walk with us round Weobley Village, telling the story of Jesus’ crucifixion. Ideal for all ages with activities and songs along the way. Everyone welcome…… especially accompanied children. On the 8th October at 10:30 all pets and their people are warmly invited to a service of blessing in Byford Church. Pets are asked to be on leashes or in suitable containers, and pictures of pets that cannot be present or are deceased are also welcomed.
Each of the seven churches in the Weobley and Staunton Group of Parishes will soon be holding a Harvest Festival. On the 14th May, The Rt Rev Alistair Magowan, Bishop of Ludlow conducted a Confirmation Service at St Peter and St Paul’s Parish Church, Weobley. Eardisley Tennis and Croquet Club played host to the Weobley and Staunton Group’s inter-parish croquet tournament. After three fun but competitive rounds Letton Church, represented by Alistair Ross and Charles Overton, emerged Tournament Champions, with Byford represented by Sue Hubbard and Will Keeley, runners up.
The Weobley Summer Fete is fast approaching! Please diarise 17th June and come along to Castle Green for a day of great enjoyment for the whole family.
